MEDC (Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation)
The MEDC is a non-profit organization designed to assist in financing the
growth of companies in Milwaukee county and the four counties in the
metro-Milwaukee area (Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha).
MEDC offers several programs:
Second Mortgage Program

RCEDC (Racine County Economic Development Corporation)
The RCEDC is a non-profit organization which provides assisted financing
to companies located in Racine county to facilitate growth and development.
RCEDC offers programs such as:
Racine County Revolving Loan Fund Program (RLF)

Offered to for-profit businesses for fixed asset and limited working
capital financing

|
Up to 90% of the project may be funded
|
Wisconsin Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

For businesses in communities with population less than 50,000

SBA (Small Business Association)
The goal of the SBA is to help provide financing to small business in
situations such as: start-up business, have little collateral or desire a
longer amortization.
Tri City offers several loan products in conjunction with the SBA:

7(a) - SBA guarantees a maximum of 80% of loan amount
|
|
|
504 - Item being financed is shared between business, bank and SBA. The
bank takes a first lien on collateral, SBA then takes a second lien.

|
Low Doc - One page application available for loans under $100,000.
Low-doc loans are guaranteed up to a maximum of 80%.

West Allis Economic Development Loan Program
The City of West Allis provides financing to industrial and commercial businesses.
Financing is available for existing businesses looking to expand or finance major
purchases, or to businesses looking to move to the City of West Allis. The loan
program is designed to bridge the gap between total project cost and available
financing. Loan assistance is available to businesses that can provide job
opportunities to low-to-moderate income workers.

Loans available for up to 1/3 of total cost or $150,000 (whichever is less).

Fixed rate financing for up to 20 years.

WHEDA (Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority)
WHEDA was primarily organized to assist in the expansion or acquisition of
an existing small business. WHEDA guarantees loans for the lesser of 80% of
the loan amount or $200,000, for loans up to $750,000. WHEDA assisted loans
can be used for a variety of purposes, such as:
